"The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Location was terrific, with lots of great shops and restaurants.
One thing to be aware of is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the flat. That was a bit of a surprise, but we were able to manage it."

Derwent House ideal for groups or a special occasion. All prices fully inclusive"Derwent House is a beautiful period building across a quiet lane from a park in the centre of Matlock. Great location for walking to restaurants and bars. Easy access to drive to local attractions. Comfortable beds, most rooms ensuite. Lots of space for sitting together in the kitchen or dining room and comfortable front room. Only downside is this house has LOW DOORS! We had at least 3 bumped heads as all doors and stairs have low head space!! Also the drain blocked whilst we were there...
