"I wanted to stay here because of the unusual appearance of the hotel. I paid a bit extra for a balcony room which turned out to be in the 4th floor on the side of the building with a view of the harbour. The room was huge and spotless. I was out for meals so I didn't try the restaurant. There were several lifts but the one nearest my room was glass and was inside the glass triangle. Riding in it was an experience in itself!"

"Horrible room, dirt and grime everywhere. Sticky floor. Bed clearly just remade after previous guests or squatters, black hairs and pubes. Bed cushion had ominous stains! Slept fully clothed! No WiFi code despite being the selling point and even requesting it. Was told to let them know if arriving after 9pm or they couldn’t help with anything, which I did, but no response to wifi question! Weird selection of a couple of old forks, bowls, mug and the kettle didn’t work and smelled like someone had cooked beef noodles in it. Toilet was all brown and green at the bottom! Would had just gone elsewhere if wasn’t 10pm and travelled for 6 hours to get there! Avoid!"

"Site was undergoing lots of renovations, lights in the room were broken, skirting boards were not dusted, and the noise and smell from the outdoors made it very hard to sleep. However the bed and washing facilities were okay."

"This place was okay - clean and a very comfortable bed! Finding and getting into it was insane. No markings that it was a hotel so we spent an hour and a half trying to find it - we stood right in front on the door but no sign."

"Good location, friendly staffs and place is clean. It’s very close to National Express Bus terminal and large shopping mall to less than 0.2 miles. To Cruise port by taxi or uber cost just about $10-12. It was the best choice"

"We had booked two overnight stays at the start and end of a cruise. While on bith occasions we arrived at the hotel well ahead of normal check-in time, we only had to wait a short time until our room was available. This was very good as it was tiring after a long journey. The hotel is convenient for cruising from Southampton as it is only a short distance to the ferry terminal, but the hotel provided a complimentary transfer on the embarkation day. However, it at £229 for an overnight stay it is not cheap with breakfast additional. WE didn't have dinner at the hotel, so can't comment, but did have drinks in the bar on our second stay. Not cheap there either, but staff helpful and friendly."

"Room was clean but no cups or glasses to use with the plates and bowls. Other clients stood outside of the window (ground floor) and smoked weed and cigarettes for several hours so couldn’t open windows for fresh air."
