Tucked along the Great Egg Harbor River, this historic town offers kayaking adventures and peaceful fishing at Lake Lenape Park. Visit the Atlantic City Race Course for seasonal events or explore Hamilton Mall for shopping when you need a break from nature.
Stay was in the middle of January, so the hotel was practically empty. Due to the extremely low occupancy, I was upgraded to an oceanfront room, which was very nice. The staff was friendly and courteous. The only negative was that you could hear other guests opening up their sliding doors in their rooms; rooms are not well sound proofed. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

So I set my expectations low, but I was very impressed. Yes the tower was outdated, but it was clean. I didn’t find a single hair on the floor, or stain on the linen. I check for bed bugs at every hotel, there were none. Parking was easy and cheap, $10. The elevators form the garage stunk like vomit/sweat/urine all combine which was gross. That...
