"There is a discrepancy between rooms on hotels.com vs the assignment at hotel. I reserved classic 2 queens and was given classic double (1 bed). The front desk was accommodating and found a double bed room. The hotel is in great location, directly across from Public gardens. Staff was helpful & friendly. Nespresso and complimentary bottles of water provided. At the top of the hill (from waterfront) which can seem difficult at end of day of being tourist. Would definitely stay there again."

"We had a lovely one night stay. The rooms are newly renovated and the bathroom very large. Loved the l’occitane products. The bed was so comfortable.parking was expensive at $45/night for valet"

"This hotel is ideally situated for people wanting to walk around what’s on offer in the Nova Scotia. However, it is a little dated and it’s quite noisy in the rooms most of the rooms face onto the front of the street and starting very early in the morning. There is a lot of truck traffic as the containers are being offloaded at the docks very nearby. I don’t think asking for another room would’ve made any difference as the majority of the rooms seem to face the same way,if not, they are very close to the side road, so the noise would only be marginally lower. It might’ve been a nice touch to visitors if there was something in the rooms to let them know of sites worth seeing in the area, possibly some restaurants, cafés, or bars they may wish to visit. It’s quite an expensive hotel for what you get in my opinion"

"Sue was a fantastic host with excellent communication. Perfect spot with a million dollar view. We were a family of 4 and enjoyed every minute there. Unlike a lot of VRBO hosts, we were treated more like family visiting than simply renters. I cannot put into words just how easy going and wonderful it was staying here and hope to visit again!"
