"Arriving at the Showboat Hotel our room was not acceptably clean. The floor was sticky and covered with dirt, mini fridge had mold, and the balcony had dirt/bird droppings that was clearly not kept up with. I called the hotel desk which is not in on the weekends, after speaking with hospitality we were sent a housekeeper. Bluebird Cabin - Brand New Cozy Log Cabin on 5-Wooded Acres / Pet-Friendly!

"We had a great time at this cabin and honestly loved everything about it. From the second we arrived, it just felt cozy and welcoming. The place was super clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. One of our favorite parts was starting our mornings on the enclosed front porch—just sitting there with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds. It was so peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we needed. The location was perfect too—quiet and tucked away, but still close enough to get to anything we needed. The cabin made it easy to unwind and enjoy ourselves with modern amenities like Wi-Fi and a TV we could stream on for movies at night. Although we didn't use the firepit, we thought that was a nice touch to have as an option. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful region!"

"My husband and I have been traveling to Keuka Lake every Memorial holiday for the past 3 years with our family and this was the best so far. The house was clean, well organized, property well maintained with everything in good working order, outdoor space was very nice as well and we found everything very accommodating for our needs. Having 3 bathrooms was a plus! The dock was great as my brother has a boat and it was nice going out on the lake. The views are beautiful, distance to everything we had planned was perfect. The host, Daisy, was very responsive when we had questions. Siting by the fire pit was really nice too, nothing like marshmallows! I would highly recommend this place. Thank you Daisy, we truly appreciated you sharing your property with us during our visit at Keuka Lake."

"The location, views, porch and beach area were great. Unfortunately, significant deferred maintenance and stink bugs were part of the experience, and this really limited our ability to enjoy our stay.The house was not properly cleaned (food/crumbs, dead bugs, dust, mildew, bugs guts on walls). 2 bedrooms and both upstairs bathrooms were unacceptable because of the constant stream of bugs. Safety issues: Both main doors have old knobs that are loose and made it really difficult to open from the inside. The dock is also very damaged (not like pictures) and we didn't feel confident using it despite owner saying we could.We discovered the washer leaks, and there is mildew/mold present because towels were stuffed between the wall and washer to soak up water rather than fixing the leak. Mold spores are present, and it's a health issue. If the house were properly cleaned/maintained, this would have been obvious.Communication was okay, but they *knew* about the bugs and their solution was for us to catch and throw them in the toilet or back outside and it would "get better". They release "stink" when you kill them and/or if they are scared, making it even worse. I wish we had just left. They kept coming out the whole time.The view, the porch and the fire pit by the beach were great. Very quiet area. Mattresses were fine. Plenty of dishes linens and a gas grill (if you use a lighter to start it). Swing set outside for smaller kids a plus."
