"I woke up several times during the night because of the highway noise. The staff also did not explain any of the hotel facilities or amenities during check-in, which is something most other hotels usually do. In particular, one male staff member at the front desk was extremely unfriendly. I visit Boston often and have stayed at many different hotels here, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I will never stay here again."

"Terrible service and conditions. Several flights of stairs, no staff to help. When a staff member did show up on my third day I asked for a blanket because it was cold and he told me they don’t have them. No cups, dirty sheets, a bucket under the sink to catch the leaking water from the pipes. The property is not maintained well no phones for emergencies and five flights of stairs and I wasn’t even on the top floor.. Not ADA compliant. Hairdryer didn’t work. Breakfast is a granola bar or packet of instant oatmeal. No please to sit and eat. Threadbare towels. They don’t make the bed."

"When I checked in, the gentleman handling the process was very courteous and polite. Explained everything in detail. The second day, I had a whole different experience; as I was approaching the reception, a man saw me and immediately left his post and went into a side room. Waited few minutes and went to call him. He acted upset that I called him and was very grouchy with short responses to my questions. Not good. The breakfast food quality was not good. I and another table ordered smoked salmon. Salmon arrived frozen. Both tables complained but nothing was done. This beautiful hotel that has rooms like a Four Seasons hotel, dilutes that beauty and serenity with these issues. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect. It's surrounded by so many great shops (Ulta, Marshals, Starbucks Ben & Jerrys and many great restaurants), making everything easy and convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from start to finish. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of options, and the rooms were gorgeous, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We arrived close to midnight and I felt very safe being with my daughter who needed to be seen early at Boston's Children Hospital. Peace of mind during my stay was important. One thing we really appreciated was how quiet the hotel was; we never heard noise from other rooms or outside. Although Boston's Children Hospital is close, prepare for added travel time. The mere 3 miles ended up being 30 minutes at 7:45 AM. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again! "
