"This property worked out well for us and our pups. Very nice, accommodating hosts. Great location. We enjoyed the local bike trails and beaches. The free-roaming resident chickens were entertaining and their delicious eggs were a nice surprise. You have to temper your expectations regarding internet quality and the basic amenities but we have no complaints based on the price and would stay again"

"We had a great time playing in the water, on the paddle boards and the paddle boat. The beach was really sandy and the weather was fantastic! Neighbor’s and lake friends were a lot of fun!! The fireworks for July 4th were outstanding! We had an excellent time!! Would love to return!!"

"We really enjoyed this log cabin. Could see Silver Lake Dunes and Lake Michigan from the deck and upper loft. Very clean. Great location. We found many new low key restaurants. The trails were very nice for our dog. Would highly recommend."

"We had and amazing time staying at this location!! It was a perfect sized cabin for us and our two little boys to enjoy a week on the lake. :) The cabin is easily accessible and within walking distance to Mac Woods and The Whippy Dip, which was a wonderful vacation benefit. The cabin had all the amenities you would need for the week! If I had to put into words the minor downfalls, I would say the outlet in the bathroom did not work, and the bathroom sink is crazy small, the main screen door did not slide very easily and needs adjusted, and parking with trailers is tight, but the view and location make up for it! We will definitely be renting again! :) "

"We have aged out of tents and cabins, but aren’t quite RV ready. This cottage fit the bill nicely: flush toilet and beds for everyone, beautiful sunset and birds chirping the arrival of a new day. Just enough adversity: no dishwasher, only one bathroom, no AC, and a bumpy mile long dirt road arrival. If we were the type to revisit a location, this would be on our list. Very clean house, plenty of lamps and fans to tailor to our preferences, and comfortable beds and chairs/sofa. "
