"The apartment is small but well-equipped, perfect for two people (even three if someone is comfortable with sleeping on the couch). The Materdei metro station is near, and bus transportation is fairly good even at night (although the city center is only 20 minutes on foot). The neighborhood gives you the true Napoli experience but at the same time it's safe. Our host, Gino was friendly, helpful and flexible, gave us clear instructions, and was always available via text messages."

"There was no Internet connection during our stay in apartment. In addition cellphones do not work inside apartment because of weak signal. When you need to make a phone call you go outside. When you go outside you need keys and because we had only one set of keys with knob which turns on the light in apartment my wife had to wait me in the dark."

We loved the neighbourhood and while it may not be for everyone, we felt it offered a window into the lives of the residents of Naples. We felt very safe and walked everywhere at all hours. The apartment is very central. There is construction work going on to the exterior of the building at the moment (May 2024) but it did not affect our enjoyment of the apartment. "It was an awesome experience. The place is exactly as portrayed, and Bruno was available immediately on request. Check-in was smooth and Bruno provided information on all the places of interest. The location is ideal as it’s within walking distance of the monuments and historic area. Restaurants and shopping area are a couple minutes walk and transportation (metro, bus, taxi) are at the gates. Location is perfect. Sally"
