"Comfortable and solid room, 2 second walk from to and from the beach and deep pool, communal room was a little far, no microwaves in room but includeds fridge and coffee machine, sugar and creamer in office. Sheets were a little uncomfortable and we couldn't figure out why the floor was always damp but I believe it was the room humidifier turned up to much"

"This house was phenomenal! The location is great and just a few houses down from a easy access beach ramp (there are only a handful of the ramps on the island) so this was a huge perk for rolling wagons and coolers! The host is an absolute delight, super communicative and very accommodating! Rooms were fantastic and had towels and linens for each. Each room has its own AC unit so everyone was comfortable the whole trip. The front porch was a great spot to sip coffee and hang out in the mornings or late evenings. The pool was a huge perk, super easy to set up the space for a day of splashing and fun. The hot tub was an awesome addition as well in the evenings or first thing in the morning. Lots of open space to hang out both inside and outside. Plenty of cookware and utensils in the kitchen. Large table to eat together at as well. Large sectional was nice to pile up on and watch movies on the rainy days. Location is super close to the Publix and most of the other places the island has to offer. Also a short distance from one of the piers as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the space. My family has been vacationing in Oak Island since I was a teen and this by far has been the best stay yet and was a great place to introduce my kiddo to Oak Island and continue the tradition. We will most definitely be returning in the future because this place has everything you could ask for in a vacation spot! Cannot rave about this spot enough! A true gem on Oak Island!"

Dog Friendly Retreat with Large Fenced in Back Yard

"A very beautiful and well-built home, located near everything. There are so many amenities. They have thought of everything you might need while away from home. It seemed that every day I would find something else I needed that was there. Beach towels were there, games, books for reading, one patio with rockers, another patio with comfy seating. The outdoor shower, the outdoor front and back water hoses, everything in the kitchen, and the storage closet in the carport had all the beach chairs, boogie boards, beach wagon, etc. I added a skimboard to the collection. :) The only thing I think I needed that was not supplied was a box of tissues. The master bed had memory foam on top of the mattress that we did not care for, so we removed it for our sleeping pleasure. The thing that stood out to me the most was the IMMEDIATE communication with the management company and host. So the little glitches were addressed very quickly. Great communication. This was a great getaway for my family."

"We enjoyed our stay at Oak Island. The property was convenient to beach access and the pool was a life saver.One drawback was no where for our entire family to share a meal. There is a table on the lower level but the kitchen is on the 2nd floor. Will definitely be back to Oak Island."

"We usually stay in a hotel/motel when we all go to the beach.But we decided to stay in the cozy cottage and it was perfect for our budget and it exceeded our expectations and had a wonderful time .would stay here again and again .If you need three bedrooms you want regret staying here."
