"The house was perfectly located, having a golf cart was a huge perk. We love being close to both the sound and ocean and the home has great views of both. "The Ruff tide house did not disappoint once again! It was convenient to the beach especially with the complimentary golfCart which made it easy peasy! The home with private pool made home pool days both fun and relaxing. They provide an array of pool floats etc that add to the fun. They also have beach chairs you can take to/from beach so you don’t have to haul yours from home. The home set up was perfect for our family’s needs! Loved the grill access and fire pit! Will gladly return again and again!"

"We absolutely loved our stay! Even though we had rain 6 out of our 7 days, we still had the most glorious time. That says everything about how special this home and location are!The house was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and easily the nicest vacation home we’ve ever stayed in. And the beach was breathtaking—truly one of the best we’ve ever experienced. We made so many wonderful memories here, and the weather certainly didn’t stop us from enjoying every minute.We loved it so much that we’re already going back next year! We can’t wait to return to this beautiful home and our favorite beach. "

"Location is fantastic. Right on the beach with a short walk over the dune. The elevator was helpful for bringing in groceries and luggage. Elevator only goes to the main level. Bathrooms were nice and bedrooms were spacious. Outdoor shower was fantastic. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available at the house. Only thing we would have liked to have that we didn’t have was a grill. Otherwise, house had everything that we needed to enjoy our visit. Love Oak Island!"

"Lovely home on the Beach that included all the necessities of home. The house was very clean and neat with up to date appliances. Pool was great for the kids! Short distance to beach made it a breeze to carry all the beach gear. Would highly recommend!"

"We used the beach house for our central point for a family reunion for beach, pool, boat, fishing etc and it was perfect. Our kids and grand kids loved it. The kitchen was well appointed and having a fridge in kitchen and on lower floor kitchenette accommodated our large family. The home has an elevator which helps to get things to top floor where kitchen and living area are. ALL of the bedrooms have a great view of either the ocean or the ICW/Sound. Brenda, the manager, and the owner Beth were always very prompt in responding with any questions. There is a storage closet equipped with beach chairs, toys, umbrellas etc. There is also a gas grill on the ground level. Each deck has chairs and or table and chairs. The long driveway has a couple of pull off parking areas so traffic flow with our bunch wasn’t a problem getting blocked in. Very helpful! We chose to use our own local home for our 50th anniversary celebration but the backyard with the pool and hot tub is large enough to accommodate a party, wedding or celebration. A great week!"

"This property was very clean and had great access to the beach. The owners provided beach chairs, beach wagons and a beach umbrella which were so helpful!! We loved sitting on the front porch in the evening and listening to the waves. Shopping was close by and easily accessible. The things that could be improved upon were providing more storage for groceries in the kitchen, all cabinets were full of other people’s food or everyday items. The closets had no hangers, so we couldn’t hang any clothes, and drawer space was extremely limited. The sheets and comforters were provided, but we had to make all the beds on arrival, which wasn’t fun after a very long drive to get there. This is not something we have had to do at other VRBO. The owners were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with!!"
