"Sawyer's Sandcastle is an absolute gem. We've been coming to OKI for years and this might have been our best experience yet. The house is in a fantastic location for enjoying all OKI has to offer, close to Lonerider Brewery, the Point, and with a convenient beach access just steps away. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully appointed for families, and packed with amenities. Smart TVs in every room, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, covered decks with nice seating on both levels and both sides of the house, a golf cart, pool - and pet friendly! The incredibly responsive owner and property manager made for a smooth and enjoyable stay. And we appreciated the well beach shed packed with chairs, a beach cart, sand toys, pool floats, and more. The house also features stunning views of both the sound and the beach - meaning sunrise and sunsets are both spectacular. This property has everything you could possibly want to enjoy Oak Island to the fullest with friends or family. "

"THE HOUSE WAS NICE. The TV on the ground floor in the den did not work. And the one in the middle bedroom upstairs. The one on the ground floor the picture was messed up and upstairs could not get it to work."

"House was great, loved the open concept of the kitchen and living room. Nice large bedrooms, Kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were nicely remodeled.The photos of the beach views online were outdated. The vegetation on the dunes have grown up where you couldn’t see the beach from the deck. Overall a great place to stay."

Also, after stay we were charged a significant part of our security deposit for cleaning and damage not caused by us. Be sure to take photos of property before stay to ensure your position on how the property was left. With these precautions and awareness you should have a nice stay! "
