A wonderful quiet quality little home we stayed at for our visit! Everything was lovely and clean and it’s conveniently like 5-10 minutes away from everything! I would definitely stay here again my next time through Memphis!
The house is in a Sketchy area, but if you’re used to Memphis, it’s perfect and not a bother at all. Our car and belongings were never messed with and we always felt safe. Either way Great place. Real Close to Midtown, where theres lots of great restaurants, bars and things to do. The property manager was very kinds and communicative. 5 Stars!! Stay Here!!

The smoke smell in the vents was unwelcoming and unpleasant. The remote controls need battery replacement, the bed is super soft and has a sink whole that takes you in. It’s not bad for one person, but for two it wasn’t the best experience. Overall it wasn’t bad considering the location.
It is located in a bad neighborhood. The television doesn’t work correctly. The kitchen is not stocked with clean cooking or eating utensils. The silverware had food stuck on it. The dresser drawers had junk and dirt in the drawers. The front security door deadbolt doesn’t lock. The tile work in the shower has large gaps around the shower head and the spout and shower doesn’t line up with the center of the bathtub. Ran out of hot water in the shower.

Area seemed a bit unsafe, wish they'd have deep cleaned as the floors needed swept and surfaces needed a good wipe down. Headboard was simply cardboard with fabric over it. Mold and a leak behind the washer. I wouldnt stay here again unless serious changes are made.

The dwelling was fair, yet there was no burglar alarm on the premises. The neighborhood was not safe looking at all. Seemingly, homeless people were walking up and down the street, houses near the premises were nailed up with boarded windows that obviously showed. One of the next door neighbors told me not to go east on the next block because someone had been killed over the weekend in that block. The same neighbor then offered to sell me some mechanics and carpenters tools. I refused to accept the offer. A big factory with a damaged roof existed directly across the street from the dwelling. I knew I would be gone for hours at a time when I left the premises. That would make me a target with all of my belongings in an unprotected dwelling with it not having a burglar alarm. I felt out of place being in a brand new car and unloading luggage into that premise. I looked out of place as though I didn't belong to that community. I felt unsafe. I took pictures of the dwelling and of the neighbor hood. I put the key back in the lock box and left. I contacted VRBO and told them that I didn't like the environment, and that I did not feel safe staying there.
We enjoyed our stay here! The house is newly renovated and matched the photos. The neighborhood is up and coming but once we were in the property we felt perfectly safe throughout our stay. You are near a railroad so you will hear a train close by a couple of times a day, but that’s pretty common for Memphis since the trains go right through the city. Would definitely stay again in the future! Host was quick to respond to any questions.
