"The spa, we were speechless! The staff AMAZING, all they wanted was for you to have a wonderful stay. Great hospitality!! Food was wonderful, we even got an upgrade! At the end, there was a confusion with the bus arrivals but honestly we know it wasn’t the staff’s fault. Would 100% go back."

"Lovely three day stay in Menaggio where we really enjoyed the hotel. The property sits on the water and a sweet square, full of life, dog walking and beautiful views. Hotel Du Lac is like an inn, with a small coffee cafe restaurant on property. Everything we had there was wonderful, and the view of the lake and activity on the walkway was lovely. Special thanks to employee Faisal who was patient with me when I called being"lost" at another property of the same name in another lake town. He was kind, got us on the right ferry and welcomed us when we arrived at the front desk. He also was our server for a quick lunch upon arrival, and we felt well taken care of. Overall a quiet little town, not as crowded as some of the more known towns, and we highly recommend the town and Hotel Du Lac."

"Great vibe, and great value! It is in front of the lake. I had an adventure before I arrive there as was late storms and no transport. But managed it. It is clean. Plenty of toilets and showers. The guy at the reception was really good even offered to pick me up when he had to finish his shift. Also he offered me a slice of his pizza as I could not find anywhere with my adventures. Defently recommend it."

"The apartment itself was fine, and has great view views of Lake Como. But what people need to understand is that, especially this time of year, many of the buses and taxis/Uber shut down after 7 PM. So if you’re having dinner in the center of Menaggio, it is very difficult to get home and we had to walk home twice, all uphill. Plus, there are no sidewalks on the switchback roads so pretty dangerous. It would’ve been good to know some of the challenges with getting back home in the early fall. Bottom line is you need a car if you are staying at this place."
