Palladium Hotel Menorca

"We liked the hotel as soon as we arrived - it has a nice, modern and spacious feel with attractive indoor areas to sit and relax. Wonderful views from up on the hill, from both sides of the building. Lovely sandy coves nearby to wander and explore. The staff were all cheerful and helpful. We really appreciated the little touches such as welcome treats in our room to celebrate our anniversary, and the fact that they didn't charge for water at dinner or use of the pool towels. The evening music/entertainment was mainly very cheesy, although we loved the Spanish trio singing and dancing flamenco. The buffet can get a bit hectic even in low season and more defined sections would avoid one long queue of people. More supervision is needed regarding the behaviour of children - it only takes one family who let their kids run, shout and use their hands in the food and it ruins it for everyone. Aside this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely look for other Palladium hotels if they're as good as this one."

"This is an excellent value rustic rural hotel in the middle of Menorca ideally situated to visit all parts of the island. With its spacious grounds and quiet corners it is also ideal for those that want to relax in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Rooms are well kept and spacious, mostly at ground level with outside areas to sit and chat. We were impressed with the showers and the beds were comfortable. Fridges were useful to have. There is a very large (unheated) pool surrounded by sunbeds of various types, well spaced but with plenty of availability for all guests. There is also a terraced area outside the main building which is partly covered. This is used for serving breakfast, drinks and also on request, good basic meals for those not wanting to go out to eat. The staff are very friendly and adaptable and will try their best to please you by cooking special special breakfast items such as fried or scrambled eggs in addition to the excellent buffet provided. A car is highly recommended to make the most of the position (there are no shops or restaurants in walking distance nor regular bus service). Nearly everything on the island can be accessed in 30 minutes or less by car with the West side taking 45 minutes longer and the South West 55 minutes. We would definitely re-visit. The main areas for improvement are for them to find effective ways to avoid being pestered by wasps at breakfast in early October and to heat the swimming pool by a few degrees."

"We had a lovely time at 33. The Accomodation was very clean with everything we needed. The location was brilliant. We spent a lot of time in the sea swimming and snorkelling, the snorkelling was top quality. Our stay was better than expected and we loved Menorca. Thank you Bill and Farida."
