"Tolle Lage, wunderbare Aussicht aufs Meer. Strand gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Schöner, sauberer Pool. Küche teilweise renoviert. Neuer Kühlschrank und Herd/Backofen.Küchenschränke ziemlich marode. Oberes Bad schön gross und renoviert.Betten sehr unbequem, Ferdern haben durchgedrückt. Kommunikation am Anfang sehr gut. Schnelle Antwort und innert kürze wurde eine Lampe im Bad ersetzt.Am Abreisetag kam gar keine Antwort auf Anfrage. "

"Wir haben uns in diesem geräumigen, sehr sauberen Haus absolut wohl gefühlt. Da es unerwartete Weise im Juni schon sehr heiß war, war es sehr angenehm zwei Bäder und in allen Schlafzimmern Klimaanlage zu haben. Die Küchenausstattung ist minimalistisch ( u.a. 5 Teelöffel) aber ausreichend. Die Matratzen sind schön fest und bequem. "Just returned home from an excellent stay at villa Santa Brigida. The villa is in an excellent location, just an easy 10 minute stroll from the centre of Cala'n Porter. "We stayed for 3 nights, b&b, double room on the back of the hotel looking inland. The room was basic with old furniture but clean, plenty of space, shower gel/shampoo provided, two single beds pushed together, big balcony, not much room in the loo because of the bidet! Being on the back very quiet and out of the sun which was appreciated (we noticed the rooms with sea view overlooking the pool were in the full sun all afternoon/evening), aircon very powerful, beds made every day. There was a kettle but nothing to make drinks with, we asked for some stuff from reception. The hotel was beautiful, lovely friendly helpful staff lots of seating areas, big restaurant, food fantastic, absolutely everything you could imagine for breakfast, lovely bar areas. We paid for the dinner buffet which cost 25 euros pp and an extra 6 euros for unlimited drinks! Different theme each evening, absolute bargain! No queues (although we went quite late each time) and everything restocked quickly. Bagel/omelette stations for breakfast and other fresh cooked food for dinner. Great food at the pool bar also (often a queue for drinks here). On our last day we noticed that people were scrapping around for sun beds, so probably not quite enough for the size of the hotel when full."

"A wonderful, relaxing hotel that brings a feeling of peace when you step inside. Highlights included the friendly and helpful staff, the delicious, plentiful breakfast (including both buffet and menu options), the pool area and the calm and relaxing rooms. Overall a lovely hotel to spend a week in August."

"The location is fantastic - we went for the eclipse and it didn’t disappoint - however the rooms themselves could use some tlc! The main pool is lovely but the bar service is slow and under staffed- even before the day of the eclipse - definitely need more bar staff - poor Sainer worked v hard with no help - bad management there as there were other staff able to help (inc managers!) but overall nice chill place - v little else around but there is a supermarket close by - food is ok - breakfast is better than the evening meal but they have everything- although as is with meals served en mass - never great 😌 Taxi to the Ciutadella was 12 euro ans well worth a visit"

"Great hotel and location. We loved El Castell. Hotel could do with more sun loungers by the pool. There are two massive double sunbeds topped off which nobody could use. Also reception could be quicker to check in, a lot of forms to get a towel, most places give towel cards. Reception also needs to have better knowledge we asked about tapas places and somewhere to watch the England match and they couldn’t really help us"
