"Casa de Maya was EXCEPTIONAL! The staff is absolutely lovely, welcoming and helpful with any questions or suggestions for day trips. Rooms were clean and spacious. The location is perfect and super easy to walk to historic sites, restaurants and shops, and if you prefer to Uber, then that’s just as easy too. The breakfast was wowza TOP NOTCH! Breakfast was cooked every morning with fresh delicious ingredients! Well done Casa de Maya !!"

The attention to detail incredible. Upon arriving I was offered the most delicious drink to cool off along with a cool wet towel. The owners are real artists and it is reflected everywhere in the home. As an artist myself I am totally inspired. This place is a real treat for the eyes. It is real oasis in a busy town. Well done. This is a wonderful place to stay in Mérida. We were taking a chance on the location as Casa del Maya didn't appear to be in one of the more central areas of town (at least from what we could see on the map) but it's close to everything. There were shops and restaurants right around the corner and some of the major plazas were just a short walk away.
