Serene 4-Bedroom House on the Wisconsin River

Escape to this peaceful 4-bedroom house situated on the beautiful Wisconsin River just north of Lake Alexander. This cozy home is the perfect all-season family getaway.

In the summer, enjoy the waterfront by kayak and paddle board, both included with your rental. The long open shoreline makes for easy swimming or fishing and a designated sandy/shallow area makes it great for a kids play area or setting a chair in the water to chill. The spacious yard is ideal for outdoor games and unforgettable campfire nights. Enjoy sunsets from a private upper balcony deck area overlooking the water.

In the winter, take advantage of ice fishing and easy access to nearby snowmobile trails. Direct snowmobile access to the ice.

This property is close to Council Grounds State Park and Grandfather Falls which features scenic Ice Age Trails. You can drive a short distance to the city to stroll the historic home district by foot and visit the three stone-arch bridges for a memorable photo opportunities. Experience the area’s natural beauty by hiking, ATVing and snowmobiling and visit the Underdown Recreation Area trails for mountain biking and cross-country skiing through gorgeous landscapes. The cabin was perfect for a fun, chill game weekend with the friends. Full kitchen, great communal rooms and enough beds and showers for all. Hosts were communicative and welcoming. We went in the wintertime, but imagine the summer is even more fun as it’s right on the river.
