"First off this hotel was great. We had stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. The hotel staff were so friendly, nice, and welcoming. They all spoke English which made it very easy to ask questions or order food.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner was all delicious and the scenery around the hotel is so peaceful and relaxing.
The rooms were clean, beds comfy, house keeping was great, and overall the property is very well kept.
If you are traveling to Mertesdorf or trier I would recommend this...
"Lovely hotel high up on the mountain side with an amazing view of the valley and Luxembourg on the other side of the river. The breakfast buffet was hardy and delicious, and the dinner one of the best I had in Europe! The natural setting was breathtaking. The infinity pool on the bottom floor has a great view of the valley, as well. The town had some fun places to explore, and it is just a short drive to Echternach on the Luxembourg side, which has a courthouse originally built by Charlemagne....
