They were also very responsive to any questions or problem we were facing. Their house is very comfortable with an abundance of character. If you enjoy ‘historical architecture’, Carregal do Viriato is the place to stay. The neighbourhood buildings, narrow streets & cobblestone roads transport you to the past.Thank you Antonio & Eva for a memorable week, and we highly recommend Casa dos Chuches to everyone."

"First impressions are everything and the lovely staff gave us a very warm welcome complete with a glass of port, as well as a tour of the property upon arrival. The spa was very clean and zen, and our panarama suite had a lovely Mountain View. We dined in Fatiga, the restaurant on property and it was fantastic!! The food, service and ambiance were perfection!"
