Lodges in Metropolitan District of Quito

It was an excellent stay, nice pool, good hosts, good food, great rooms.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying with David at Tarrassas de Dana. The hotel is only 4 small bungalows. They are simply but elegantly designed and finished. The site if nothing less than spectacular. Gorgeous! Full of flowers, verdant mountains, hummingbirds and butterflies. David was a wonderful host and so very helpful. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel served on the private porch of our bungalow. Both were excellent.

Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

We loved the lodge and the excursions. My one complaint was with the transportation provided back to Quito. The driver was driving far too fast for road conditions and several people ended up vomiting from car sickness

The staff is incredible!! I recommend this lodge if you want to stay in nature. The tour guides are very good and all the staff at the lodge are really helpful and friendly.

A truly remarkable experience. Great place. Great service. Great food. The views are amazing and the place was all that we expected. We took the horse ride and it was great. I recommend this place to any wine wanting a relaxing and beautiful experience!

We were in Ecuador as it was a bucket list destination and we needed a place in the area and this did it for us, the place is great, defo worth trying it out.

Amazing villa with 3 bedrooms and many lounge areas. The staff and owners were very accommodating and even brought our breakfast to us, as we weren’t staying on the main property. Very clean, amazing views, and it was all in a private neighborhood. It is very safe in Mindo. Fresh fruit trees are growing in the backyard, and yes, you will see many new animals. This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful.
