"This place was great. I booked somewhere else and had a last minute cancellation due to a plumbing issues and am so happy I did. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and the food was great. It’s also like 2 blocks from el Zocalo. Dupper safe too. My husband and I walked late in the evening and felt safe at all times. "

"If you want a cool lobby, book here. Staff is great and it's definitely a fancy place. I don't think for what you pay, the value is not great. Nothing is included, not even breakfast. No amenities, the snack bar is lacking and there is no bar. This is a cool place to stay for a night, but I would've booked elsewhere for a longer stay next time. "

"The overall rating of three stars is generous. This very very old building was turned into a hotel in the 1930s. Charming? Maybe, but it seemed like many things were not updated since then. I don’t even know where to start. It also varies by room. I know this because we had to switch rooms. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. The noise from the Zócalo seemed to be never-ending. But if you want a great location in the middle of everything, stay here. "
