Location: Lake James is very large, deep lake, but with state park and camping facilities on a large portion, the houses are limited compared to other lakes and crowds are very light. "My friends and I have been traveling once yearly for over 25 years. This is our last trip as a large group. Numerous times we remarked that this house is the best one yet. It’s lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed how quiet it was, too. You couldn’t hear every noise and word, so we weren’t waking or keeping each other up. And we love having laundry on site for a slightly longer stay."

"We had an amazing stay here with our family, friends and fur babies. The house is very big and accommodated our group of 8 very well. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat-in comfortably and the living room was super cozy. Our kids loved the giant bunkbed room, xbox and game room. "We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain home! The home has useable land around it which meant we were able to throw the football and run around some. My kids enjoyed running up and down the small hill in the backyard. The best part about the yard is the firefly show that happens at night. Impressive! The inside of the home is comfortable and clean. The huge windows in the family room were perfect for watching a thunder storm move through the area. We would definitely visit again."

"Overall we were very happy. We traveled with a large group and were thrilled to fit us in one place. They had just had a plumbing issue fixed and the lower bathroom still had a slight smell (it was tolerable). It was really hard to find in the dark but quiet and beautiful once you got there. We did have a little mouse visit us but it’s in the woods so….."

"A group of friends and I stayed at this property, it was very spacious for the 10 of us. The outside balcony had a breathtaking view at sunset and sunrise. The location was a bit tough to find, as we got lost using Google Maps but that's the price of booking an exclusive house. I would stay here again and recommend for future guests."

"This was the perfect place for our family getaway. Perched on the top of a mountain with an amazing view. The place was clean and comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The whole experience was smooth and top notch. Everyone was so happy and impressed with this spot. It was so close to Asheville, we were able to go into the city for some of the time and explore. Thank you so much for helping us make family memories. Highly recommended!"

"The cabin was very clean with a plethora of little additions that were thoughtful -Pet crate (already set up) for our dog. We didn’t need it but the option was great -Basket of misc pet supplies, if needed -Food and water bowl for a pet already there -A lot of movies, games, and books to choose from -Large tv with directTV - The fire pit outside was a great option too. We planned to use it but we arrived later than we expected. Highly recommended"
