"First, the appearance of the place seemed nice, but it was dusty and had cob webs. The old windows leaked cold air, and when we arrived, none of the radiators were on. Once we turned one on, it said the house was 10 degree Celsius- in the middle of winter - brrrr. The Cottage is also two stories, with very steep stairs. We had to leave and find another place to stay because my elderly mother couldn’t do the stairs to her bedroom and my small children couldn’t spend the night in a freezing house....

"Second time we stayed there. The host was attentive but couldn’t fix the smoke alarms that went off numerous times each night. It put quite a damper on the stay"
