Loved the veranda and the table and chairs so we could sit outside in the evening with a view across the lawn and to the trees. "Recently refurbished Pub with separate outhouses that have been converted into rooms. The rooms were in excellent condition. The fod in the pub both evening and breakfast were delicious. There is a nice outside play area for children which got heavy use."

"Great staff lovely breakfast but noisy until the pub closes but really quiet after that until staff arrive at 7ish to start breakfast.Location is good only a very short walk to town centre.Parking can be a real issue no blue badge spaces nearby on street parking but very busy when we were there & had to park a few streets away.On street parking is limited to 1-2 hours between 10am-6pm Mon-Sat so a bit of an issue for us.As my husband is disabled staff did offer for us to open the courtyard gates...

"We spent a pleasant night here with a very spacious room and comfortable bed, although the bathroom felt a touch old-fashioned. Our evening meals, in the bar, were OK, nothing special, although service was quite slow, and for some reason we couldn’t use a Greene King drink voucher despite it being a Greene King pub ! Breakfast selection the following morning was good and the smoked salmon and scrambled egg, freshly cooked from the hot menu, was excellent. Parking is in a courtyard behind the...

"A clean room with a comfortable bed in easy walking distance of the town centre. The room was quite small and a bit cramped as was the bed but OK for one night. There are a few minor maintenance issues that could be sorted to improve the experience but nothing major. Good shower and friendly staff. I would stay again but probably upgrade to a superior room if available for a larger bed and more space. Overall good value. "

"Stayed here for a family event with my extended family. The room was spotless if a little dated. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean and the shower worked well. It does need a little investment, the furniture and furnishings are tired. Breakfast was good if limited in choice. All the team were pleasant. "We stayed 2 nights at the Bull Inn as a base for our visit to the nearby area. We slept there and had breakfast but no other meals (we arrived late one evening, were out all day until late the next day and left after breakfast the following day. Service throughout was friendly and polite; the room (one of several in an annex in the garden) was clean, fresh and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
