"Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice linens, very good breakfast. Bathroom fan not working and bedroom windows could only be opened fractionally which affected ventilation and temperature control. Carpets could be cleaner. Overall good value for the money."

"Was a nice place, the inside was much nicer than the outside, the breakfast was great but the pub is noisy. They do close at 11 and things quiet down quickly after that. To be expected at an inn like this but was slightly annoying after a long day walking. "

"It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room.
