"The room, room 344, was cold despite playing with the room control dials. The shower room was one of those where it is supposed to disappear through a drain on the tiled floor, but the water just spread to other areas making you prone to slip and get wet feet whilst using the toilet. We could not get into Madelines bar as needed to book a table in the afternoon. Breakfast was ok. Bed was a little hard and did not like the pillows."

"U get what you pay for , negatives - no fridge [should be standard in all hotels] , loads of marks and dust and scratches everywhere, Tv is only assigned to hotel screen so can’t watch anything. Postivites are it has a spa and it’s close to NEC and that’s about it "

"Room was booked for 27/28 March. Got a called on the 24th to say the room was unavailable and they were cancelling my room. All alternative hotel prices weee now up 50%. Had to cancel 1 days stay in birmingham and footed a train alteration fee. Will NEVER book at the cube again! "

"Super Staff, friendly, helpful and were interested in why we were staying. Last September I ruptured my Achilles Tendon, this is still causing problems and the young lady on Reception - who also had a problem with a broken arm - was extremely helpful and we had a discussion with regards to how life is very difficult with limbs that are damaged! Lovely room - although the shape led to an odd small window and a large wall that gave the impression a window had been removed! We had a lovely time whilst there, although were unable to use the facilities due to family living close by and important events happening!"

"No refrigerator, microwave, ice. Lighting in rooms is impossible to do makeup. Carpet smells. Parking is terrible. Incredibly overpriced."
