"We thought all places on VRBO were the entire house but this is a single room rental with shared spaces of other renters in the basement as well as the owner living upstairs. The room was dirty and not well kept, the mattress had stains, no fitted sheet, door was greasy and black, used bar of soap in the shower, and lots of diy fixes of holes in the walls.The shared downstairs door has an electronic lock that other guests to the house would wake us up when they got home late because they kept putting in the wrong code, banging on the door, and ringing the doorbell. The upstairs owners woke us up every morning you could have people walking, talking and chairs against the floor. The ad showed pictures of a beautiful house and took multiple pictures of the outside showing the view out over the water but our window opened to a concrete wall as the room was below grade. The kitchen was down the hall and shared with other renters, the laundry was shared with other renters. The was a dining room that was next to our room but the door connected into our bathroom. One of the other renters had their bathroom outside their room. Very confusing check in process of what was ours and what was shared and where we could go as we were expecting the entire house. Overall would not stay here again, very disappointed vrbo allows places like this to operate. "

"Before the trip was a night mare dealing with Vrbo, I accidentally entered an extra letter on my email and it took 6 reps to try and short out fixing that, waiting and not even knowing if we still had the place due to all the confusion was fusteration, not receiving phone calls back when I was told I would besides that the place was in a Perfect location for what we did. Spend a couple night at horse shoe bay and did a day trip to Whistler and a day trip to the Sunshine Coast Home owner was easy to deal with and always contacted us back right away. The room was really big , and lots of storage for our things "

"I’ve got the price page to stay at this beautiful home in Vancouver. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The house went above and beyond my expectations as I felt like I was living in paradise for the weekend. May as the host made this stay even better as she was very nice and responsive. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this house with May as their host as she is easily the best host ever."

"Kimberley and her partner were wonderful hosts. Check-in was easy and straightforward. The rooms are clean and comfortable. One slight quibble was that the previous tenants had used up the toilet paper and it hadn't been replaced yet, but when I mentioned it to Kimberley, she replaced it immediately. Also, the previous tenants had left the bathroom a bit untidy. Again, this was a very minor issue. Overall this is an excellent place to stay."
