It's a great deal if you're looking for an affordable place for a short stay. Staff personnel were amazing and very helpful. Public transportation is another plus. Train station is just 2 blocks away (Dateo station) and there are bus stops on the same block. It took me 15-25 min to get to il Duomo area. I chose a single room so it's small but for the price it was a great deal. The room was clean and well organized. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay at this small hotel.

It's a nice quaint hotel. Friendly staff, yummy breakfast and delicious coffee. My room was really small but functional for 1 person. I like the heated floor in the bathroom. It's good for a quick trip.

Hotel Ideale, Milan. Fabulous stay 💕

We had a fabulous stay in Milan at Hotel Ideale. We visited for the Milan Marathon and the location was perfect for walking to the Centre/Duomo and the Castle....all of which are beautiful ❤️ The walk was about half an hour. The hotel, although from the outside looks a bit dated, was as we had expected from other reviews that we had read. The staff were so incredibly friendly, helpful and happy to help with any enquiries and there was always someone on the front desk. Our room was a fair size, very clean, lovely bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and lots of cupboard space and mirrors and plugs for hair drying...there was a hair dryer in the bathroom too. The hotel is on a main road (handy for Ubers which were always available in about 5 minutes) and our room looked out to it but the traffic didn't affect our sleep....we had very busy days so were very tired! The breakfast room again although a bit dated had a fab selection and lots of different croissants and good coffee! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was pleased with our choice of hotel in this beautiful City 😁

★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (Negative 9 Stars) If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to sleep in a sardine tin—without the luxury of oil—this is your golden opportunity. The rooms are so small, I had to step outside just to change my mind. I’ve seen broom closets with more breathing space. On the bright side (and I do mean the only bright side), the staff is incredibly friendly. Possibly out of sympathy. They greet you with warm smiles, maybe to distract you from the fact that your room is best navigated sideways. Not recommended for the claustrophobic, or anyone over 5’6”, or anyone with luggage larger than a fanny pack. Honestly, if the walls were any closer, we’d be dating. Book at your own risk—unless you’re looking to relive your childhood in a playhouse. A very expensive, airless playhouse.

This is a very basic, not luxury, property, but that staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating during my entire stay. They helped with information, getting a taxi, grabbing a quick espresso before starting out for the day. I highly recommend the place because of the staff. Room was small but comfortable. Great value for the cost.

Great hotel, wonderful breakfast, public transport at the front of the hotel ( bus 92 to Milano Centrale 10 min ) , nice and helpful staff, good size of the room, with a spacious bathroom. Only thing: pillows too hard for us, and the mattress need to be replaced. Supermarkets around, secure zone to walk at night. Excellent choice to stay at Milan

A privately owned business, who have maintained front desk and rooms well, bathrooms need improvement as water in basin and bidet was clogging. Overall pretty small size rooms. Breakfast was good. Getting from central train station is about 25-30 min walk.
