About this property

Perfect Escape

  • Time to relax, reconnect and explore. Come home to enjoy a family getaway, a peaceful retreat or a group gathering. This cabin offers privacy, comfort and relaxation. Enjoy our open floor plan on the main level - 1 bedroom, full kitchen, full bath and washer/dryer. Third floor has 1 bedroom, full bathroom and a loft with 3 queen beds. Enjoy a game of pool or darts in the basement which also includes 1 bedroom, a half bath and a 65" TV with a bar and kitchenette.
    Relax in the massage chair on the main floor, the hot tub on the back deck or enjoy a peaceful walk on the trails of 84 acres. Enjoy our propane fire pit on the patio (propane not included), or throw some wood on the fire located across the pond. We are located 1 mile from Reeds Gap State Park, approximately 10 minutes to Rt.322 and 29 miles to Beaver Stadium, State College. We are close to many local wedding venues, wineries, restaurants and attractions, but still tucked away enough to enjoy your own privacy. Sleeps 12 comfortably.

This is a tremendous property if you are looking for peace, rest, and have a love of nature! The property owner is very easy to deal with and has exceptional communication. We had a small bachelorette weekend and enjoyed the entire house/property. Great, remote location and perfect for a group. The hot tub and deck fireplace were our favorite spots. The kitchen was big and well stocked for our food prep. We went to Penn State’s Blue White game Saturday - an easy drive to Beaver Stadium/State College. Hope to return!

We met our adult children there for an early thanksgiving and birthday celebration for 4 of us. The house was wonderful, the backyard was over the top and the location was exactly what we were looking for--secluded, but not really too far from a grocery store!

Remote Cabin with great Amenities

This was a perfect quiet spot to get away for a long weekend. The cabin was clean, had lots of leasure activity opportunities, and enough space for large groups. Easy drive to State College and surrounding areas. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Christmas get away

We had a nice Christmas getaway with my brother and his wife. Enjoyed all the amenities and some local hiking. Kitchen was well stocked, wifi and smart home features were great, and now everyone wants a massage chair! Would definitely stay again.

Great place!

We had a small family retreat of 4 generations at the Perfect Escape. It was a very beautiful and impressive property. 3 couples stayed and we all had our own rooms and bathrooms! We had visitors through the day and the little kiddos enjoyed the hot tub, massage chair, games and running around. The host was very responsive and helpful.

It is a perfect escape!

Wonderful Relaxing Seculuded Home

This is one of the best houses we have rented through VRBO. Everything was perfect. The house was emaculate. Perfect Escape is truly a Perfect Escape
