It was a birthday treat for my wife, and there was a lovely box of chocolates from the hotel in our room, which was a lovely gesture. "This was a fun castle hotel. The decore of the bar and lounges were great. The view of the Lich was very nice the staff were friendly and they served a great breakfast. Our only complaint was the musty smell in the room. It got better with the window open. "

"Great wee weekend in Dunoon stayed in various hotels there but this was a surprise package, looking at the building might give the wrong impression of it. Beautiful old building which maintains a lot of its periodic charm and features but our room was very modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Dillon and his partner were very welcoming and fully hands on at any request and with pup Willow on hand for cuteness made a great team to relate with even if her teeth are like needles, thats the pup not his partner :-) . Will definetly look for this hotel first the next time we go back to Dunoon. "
