"Lovely stay "

"Nice room but lacking basic necessities. Hot water heater runs out of hot water fairly quickly. Cleaning staff not consistent. Room was not cleaned last night and ran out of shampoo and toilet paper. Property is being run as a cash cow. Missing light bulb cover, toilet paper holder, soap and conditioner holder in shower, mirror in bathroom too low to see face for shaving. Not enough light over bathroom sink. Etc."

"Superbe séjour. Accueil chaleureux. Très belle famille qui prends bien soin de ses hôtes. Même le chien est sympa. Chambre très grande, spatieuse, belle et confortable. Super propre. Profiter du repas du soir est un vrai bonheur gustatif. A recommander à 120%."

"Lovely clean property and owners went out of their way to welcome us and help make our holiday special. Great setting in view of the sea in an unspoilt part of Portugal. Only a short drive to the city delights of Porto (I recommend parking in Matosinhos and catching public transport or the hop-on buses) and Viana do Castelo worth a visit."
