"We have been coming back to Saplinbrea for a number of years. The staff and the food are excellent. The whole hotel has great ambiance, and provides a wonderful experience. Only negative is that carpeting in corridors is a little tired."

"The room was clean. However, we stayed 4 nights and never had a housekeeping visit. We had to ask for clean towels and coffee replenishment. The other issue i had was the fact people were smoking very close to the entrance and the lobby smelled of cigarettes. The front desk staff were warm and helpful."

"Great location with an easy clifftop walk to Slain (Draculas) castle. Memorabilia of the town and Golf course was really intriguing. Good sized bed, large room with outdoor courtyard was a real bonus. Food and Drinks were fantastic (Try the beef pie) Some lights in the room did not work but overall really enjoyed our stay."

"Great place to stay ! Quiet. Excellent restaurant. no issues with parking. The best part was the staff. They were warm and helpful. The views from the room of the farm and animals made our day. Two days of a very memorable stay."
