"I really wanted to like this place but the place is falling apart. Food was terrible, bedsheets had stains, and the towels should be replaced long time ago. Staff was nice and attentive but everything else falls short of a roach motel."

"If you want a beautiful home with a private beach, this home is perfect. It has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a full kitchen and a dining living room area. But the biggest selling point is the patio. It’s comfortable, complete with a pool and just steps from the beach. The tropical breezes and the sound of the ocean waves was amazing!This home is in San Benito which is about 30 minutes from Progreso and an hour from Merida. It’s important to rent a car so you can see all the sites. We have been to Mexico many times but never this area in the Yucatán. There are Cenotes to swim in and Mayan ruins to visit. We particularly enjoyed Mucuyche and the pink salt flats. The people of Mexico are warm and welcoming. They even tolerated our minimal Spanish. Juan, the owner and Gregorio, the caretaker were very accommodating to all of our needs. Juan gave us a list of places to visit during our time there. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone staying in the Yucatán. Thank you, Juan, for all of your help. We had a wonderful time."

"What really made this hotel stand out was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Every interaction was friendly and helpful, and they clearly take pride in making guests feel comfortable and well cared for. Their hospitality truly made the stay special. The room itself was spotless and very well equipped, showing the same level of care and attention. The hotel also has a small pool and convenient parking, which were nice touches. One of our favorite spots was the rooftop terrace. It has comfortable patio furniture and is the perfect place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine and enjoy the warm breeze. Overall, this hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay, but it’s the wonderful staff who really make it memorable. Their kindness and attentiveness are what set this place apart."

"We had a fabulous time. Unbelievable spot no neighbors on one side and nobody in the house next-door. So peaceful, constant breeze perfect weather giant house great pool violet and Jorge were great. Answered my questions right away,although I had only a couple. Highly recommend."

"The condo was across the street from the beach. The beach was not as depicted in the pictures. No private beach access. We had to go up several blocks to the boardwalk for public beach access. Instructions on how to access the WiFi and TV could have been communicated better. TV was reported not working but was not corrected during our 7 day stay. The electricity went off for 1 morning and management did respond quickly but was instructed to only use one burner on the stove. Washer was very loud and no dryer. The sewer did smell from the bathroom sink, no toilet seat on second bathroom. Only a pair of towels for each bathroom. Too much light coming through the blinds at night. The master AC would freeze up at night. Not enough hot water. Good for one hot shower. I was disappointed with the condo."

"The property was not as it shows online. The resort was totally empty except for us. The security guard checked us in. Although they were empty, they put us on the fourth floor with no elevator. The staff that we did see over our stay were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The restaurant wasn’t open and the pools were not clean. Maybe it was off season, I don’t know. The staff is the only redeeming factor."
