Jetwing Jaffna

"Good food. Staff were super helpful and friendly and did their best to make you feel welcome. The housekeeping facilities including next day laundry service was good. The bathrooms had showers but they weren’t seal proof so the water kept leaking and coming into the main bathroom area. This is a design flaw. The balcony and the view of Jaffna from there is beautiful. The hotel location is central so it’s quite noisy. If you’re not an early riser, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as there are some prayers every day at 7.30am from a nearby school via a loudspeaker. There is also no accommodation for drivers (other Jaffna hotels offer this)."

"It is a very good place given the context of the surroundings, where one cannot find many nice places for this kind of price level. The hosts are very kind, the place is clean and food is good👌. Austere but good, with AC and the things one needs, also with a nice garden and close distance to the city center."

"Room Subhas hotel gave us didn't have phone (internal use to call reception) and fridge. We had to keep food outside, so many ants 🐜 came and other tiny insects on table. Had to throw all food. Staff very helpful. Generally very good location to go Super Markets, Jaffna New Market , Bus stand , Railway station. If they improve cleanliness it's better."

"Great hotel with fantastic staff who were very courteous, helpful and hospitable, Location very convenient with train too being situated very near the Jaffna rail station. Rooms are large and practical. Will definitely stay here when in Jaffna next."
