Clean rooms, attentive staff and close to train station and markets

I have stayed in many iBis hotel all over Europe, but this location is one of the best I have stayed. Pros: - Property feels new. Excellent rooms. - Aircon :) - Lots of restaurants nearby - Close to airport. Cost 39EUR - Big grocery store next door. Cons: - Staff needs some training, especially the night shift. - The train station is little far from the hotel. 15mins walk. 2.50EUR to go to the city center.

Very clean and quiet. On taxi 30 drive to sagrada familia church on a Sunday. Loved it!

The staff was very accommodating and gave me a rundown on everything to do in the time I was there. They also upgraded my room to a suite.

We are from Atlanta, Ga and stayed here 4/18 - 4/20 prior to our 30th anniversary cruise to Italy. The Hotel is amazing. The staff are amazing. They were so helpful and accommodated our every request. I would like to compliment the Chef de Partie and staff. The breakfast was fantastic! A full buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, sliced meat & cheeses, fruit, pastries, coffee, expresso, juice. It was such a pleasant surprise. Wow, What an amazing experience staying at This hotel Torre Melina. This was a great choice to stay before our cruise. It was a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port (all taxis are metered and there are plenty of them). There were a few restaurant options around. We didn't get a chance to really see a lot of Barcelona, but it was a nice stay.

Great location in the Gothic district. Great customer service, quiet, lovely roof top bar, front desk was great with recommendations. Safe.

It was perfect after a long cruise

The staff were nice. The breakfast even though start 7:00 (a little bit late 6:30 is the best) but it was perfect. The room was clean and the service amenities were nice. I would be better if they can add hair comb or brush to the amenities. But in total it is a good, convenient , safe hotel to stay at while visiting Barcelona. You have a train station going everywhere , even to the Airport in Barcelona just down the hotel.

i like everything

Such a beautiful place. Old, beautiful, well-maintained and staffed with outstanding young people. I especially enjoyed Maria at the front desk, Jose Manuel our porter. But really, all of them were so helpful and lovely. Charming, even. I love this place. I think I’m too old to make my way back to Barcelona again, but if I did, I’d definitely stay here. Each time we returned to the hotel and were greeted by the doorman, it felt like we were returning to a place that cares about us.
