"One of the best places to stay at in Kyoto. We absolutely loved this hotel. Staff were very friendly and greeted you every time you came down from your room at any hour of the day. Check in was very easy, amenities were fantastic, free coffee, drinks and snacks from afternoon to night were very nice. The room was also bigger than expected, very clean, quiet and one of the best I have stayed in even in the states. Area is safe, neighborhood feel, but necessities were close-by as well. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel when we return to Kyoto and only stay here when back in Japan. A lot to discover in this beautiful place Kyoto."

"Very good, clean and accessible to the trains. Across from the Umejoki train station - one stop from Kyoto station. familymart attached to hotel. Starbucks around the corner. Public bath is nice too. Only wish they had a small gym with dumbbells. Otherwise great!!"
