Located at the picturesque Bernard's Landing Resort, this gorgeous townhome is warm and inviting. Surrounded by the exquisite lake and mountain views, this home is truly beautiful and unique.

Recently renovated and tastefully furnished, this home offers 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths.

On the main floor, 2 bedrooms with king beds. 2 marble bathrooms on the main floor, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining room and the spacious living/family room with large sectional sofa, wood burning fireplace and big screen TV equipped Apple TV with 100s of movies to choose from.

2 bedrooms located on the upper level 1 with a king size bed, private patio, separate bath, plenty of storage and a big screen TV and the other offers a 2 twin size bed, a big screen tv, and a large lounge chair. On the lower level, this home offers 1 with king bedroom with fireplace, full bathroom, laundry room, playroom with pool table, foosball table, and theater.

Outside on the upper deck is furnished with a dining table setup for 8 and a comfortable sitting area to enjoy your day with your family and friends while being on the front seat of the most spectacular views of Smith Mountain Lake.

The lower deck is also set up with lounges chairs and a swing to provide yet another comfort to enjoy the views that will keep you breathless.

2 owner's kayaks and 1 SUP are also available for renters to use for free. Renters must sign a waiver before using kayaks.

Enjoy the convenience of several boat docks with just steps from your deck. And, whether you want to go for a swim or just want to get your feet in to the sand, a small beach is also located just a few steps from your backyard.

In addition to the beautiful panoramic views and fantastic amenities, this home is perfectly located for family who enjoys water sports such as sailing, boating, fishing, tubing, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing or simply swimming.

The Bernard's Landing Resort also offers various amenities for our guest to enjoy with their family and friends. The resort features a community beach with tiki huts and sitting area, boat ramps, docks, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, racquetball court, tennis courts, basketball courts, clubhouse and conference area for large gathering and so much more.

Also, located in the resort is Napoli by The Lake, one of the most sought after American restaurant at Smith Mountain Lake.

For last minute amenities and gifts, Bernie's Store is also located within the resort where you can get your groceries and gifts to remember your stay. Also, boat rentals are also available within the resort.

For the golfers out there, public and private golf courses are also located within minutes of the resort. And if you enjoy sailing or want to get a sailing lesson, Virginia Inland Sailing Association (VISA) is right next door for your convenience. They offer memberships, classes and even Junior sail camps.

Perfect for spending time with friends in a comfortable and relaxing setting. It’s a spacious kitchen, dining, living room with plenty of seating. Right on the lake, we ate meals on the deck too. We’d stay there again if in the area.

This is our third stay at Peaceful Haven and it just gets better every year! The remodeling that has been done is stunning! There is plenty of room for a family to spread out. The lake views are gorgeous, the little beach is so convenient and the kayaks/SUP are great for touring the lake. We have already booked our stay for next year!

Accommodations were great with some of the best views on the lake. Home was very well equipped with everything you would need for a week’s stay at the lake. Would highly recommend this location to families or a group of ten people. Hoping to possibly stay here again in the future!

Peaceful Haven lived up to its name as we had a fabulous stay with two sets of parents and our two daughters. What a special place and experience. The views are truly breathtaking! We are already looking at the calendar for when we can return.

The property is amazing! It could not be closer to the lake and has a dock available. The location is within easy walking distance of a great restaurant, boat rentals and the community pool. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need. We look forward to returning for a longer stay!

We were fortunate enough to have an early check in….. May, our hostess, should receive an award for her communication skills! The house was beyond, along with the location. It was everything we needed….. As a family, we always do a yearly vacation, this was by far, one of our best!

Waterfront with Mountain View - we woke up every morning in awe of being able to drink our coffee in the back deck and take in the beautiful scenery. We swam in the lake every day and used the provided water toys. Our toddlers loved being able to walk right in to the water. The home was fully accommodating in terms of layout and supplies. We can’t wait to come back!

Owner is very responsive and the location is one of the best in Bernards Landing. Great beach entry to the lake for kids to play, paddle board available, docks right by the back of the house, etc. Good furnishings and linens in the house which is appreciated. Only down side is the kitchen is small but since we spend most of the time outside it works for or family. Great place and have stayed there two years in a row

Peaceful Haven was heavenly for our extended family of 10 ranging in age from 8 months to 65 years! Even better than we anticipated! House was spacious and had everything we needed and then some! Top & bottom decks afforded lovely views of the lake and mountains! Sandy beach was just steps away and convenient boat rental around the cove. Owners are very responsive to any questions/issues that arise! Stay here to make family memories you will treasure for a lifetime!

This unit was amazing and perfect for our 4 couples. The view right on the lake was beautiful, the house was so well stocked with everything you could possibly want or need, everyone in our group commented on how comfortable the beds were. It was just a beautiful, well decorated and furnished town house. We will definitely come back and stay in this exact location/unit!!

The views from the house were absolutely amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. My family stayed here over the holiday weekend and we couldn't have chosen a better place....walking distance to boat rentals & food, courtesy dock & sandy beach steps from the deck with expansive views of the lake, kayaks & a SUP available on-site, and tons of stuff to do in and around the condo. Everything was clean, fresh, and as advertised upon check-in. May was great about checking-in with us and extremely helpful!

We had a wonderful time at Smith Mountain Lake. It was our first visit to the area. The views from the home were amazing! Our grandkids were 1, 2 and 3 and the beach was a great option for them. We also rented a boat that we kept at the dock there so we ventured out into the different coves and pirate islands as my granddaughter called them. The water was beautiful and clean and we had most of the beach to ourselves during our stay. There wasn’t one item in the kitchen that you couldn’t ask for. Well stocked very clean… Everything was perfect :-)

We were a group of 6 - five adults and one child staying at Peaceful Haven for the second year and it was absolutely perfect. The layout of the condo is ideal for larger groups, with varying bed configurations and SO much room. The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking, something you don’t always find in a rental. The location of the condo is ideal as it’s situated really close to one of the beaches. We were also able to keep our boat at the dock directly in front of the unit. The property owner was very responsive and super friendly any time we had questions. Our group would highly, highly recommend Peaceful Haven and hope to stay there again next year!

Really enjoyed this condo's proximity to the water, boat dock and the great beach area (awesome for kids). Overall a very positive experience and vacation. Just a few things to mention. The kitchen is relatively small for a 5 bedroom place, an extra fridge or mini-fridge downstairs could really help out. Also, maybe we overlooked them but we couldn't find any dish towels. Not a big problem just seemed odd. We look forward to going back and would recommend this place without reservation.

Our family loved our vacay to SML. This townhouse was beautiful and met most of our needs. Mae was wonderful to work with in planni ng our trip. Our only suggestion for change is to offset the very small kitchen with another large refrigerator. The basement area could be used to accommodate one we believe. The pool table was never used, despite many of the men in our family enjoying it. We also never used the bar area as we we all upstairs or on deck most. Rearranging the basement space to feature seating and a wall with a counter/cabinet and fridge would be great.

We had a fantastic experience at this rental property. The townhome is in a perfect location on the lake and the view of the mountains and lake is breathtaking. The townhome is beautifully remodeled with an amazing gourmet kitchen with every pot, pan, and utensil you could need. The rooms are tastefully decorated with everything that you could need and the beds are very comfortable. The outdoor porches provide a beautiful view of the lake and have plenty of outdoor space and comfortable furniture. The location on the sandy beach is perfect for swimming and the multiple docks in front of the unit are perfect for easily getting in and out if you rent a boat during your stay. Our entire family ages 11-67 thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle boards as well. The property manager is excellent and quick with her communication and responded immediately to any questions that we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at Smith Mountain Lake.

This property is AMAZING! There are just not enough words to explain how much we loved it. It was exceptional - from the location to the decor to the well stocked kitchen. May checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well. We have stayed at SML several years in the past and this was by far the best property. Bernard's is our favorite location and this is the most beautiful home we've stayed in at Bernard's. I am incredibly particular about cleanliness and I can say that there was not one crumb or dirty spot on any of the 3 floors. If you've never been to Bernard's Landing, this is a prime location. The view is unbeatable and the beach area right outside was a perfect spot for our kids. There were 10 of us (6 adults and 4 kids ages 6-17) and every one of us had a great time. The rooms are perfectly appointed and it worked well for our 3 family units. We can't wait to come back and enjoy Peaceful Haven next year!

The location of the property is amazing. It's very beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Pretty big house that good for up to 10 people. Plenty of room inside with multiple places to chill. The clubhouse is nice addition as it has indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as gym, sauna and steam room. The property manager was great. We've never had any issues. Everything was awesome! We'll definitely go back. Highly reconnend!

We absolutely loved our stay here. This is by far the nicest rental home we’ve ever stayed in. Gorgeous house with phenomenal views of the lake. We cooked every night, so we really appreciated the awesome kitchen which is fully stocked. Toddler loved the little beach just behind the house and we played on it every single day. Since we were here in the fall, we took advantage of the gym, playground, and indoor pool, all part of the community access amenities. May was a phenomenal host and great to work with. She helped make our stay perfect. Wouldn’t hesitate to return here again. Thanks for a great stay!!
