"We absolutely loved our stay here. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The house was spacious and so cozy . We spent New Years here with my 3 kids and we had such a wonderful time. Played board games, puzzles and spent a lot of time in the hot tub with the spectacular view . Would definitely stay again. "

"The home is perfect for families. The porch steps are steep and it is a pleasure to be out on the porch with screen doors open so toddlers might be a problem. Otherwise our family with 7 yr old triplets and an infant, had a blast! Remember it is an old home, with a lot of charm and history. It is not a 5 star luxury hotel. With that said, it is much larger than pics portray and extemely comfortable with all the amenities you need for a great Maine vacation! We enjoyed 2 weeks of fun and solitude. Does that make sense? The island has some great hiking trails and dont miss Daphne’s pies at the beginning of Dogget! Anne, Al and Heather were very considerate and replied to any concerns immediately. "Wonderful stay! Six adults with a toddler and infant. Loved the open 1st floor, with exposure to the big outdoor deck and the lawn and river through the trees below. Very quiet, while being two blocks from the main street through town."
