"My husband and I stayed in this idyllic Shephards hut whilst on a trip to look after our Grandchild during the day time . After running around after a 4 year old all day , it was a welcome sanctuary to come home to this beautiful dwelling with its lovely fairy lights and delightfully warm hot tub to recharge our worn out bodies for the next days shenanigans . Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and have a few days for ourselves to explore the beautiful surroundings . We will definitely...

"Literally booked this the day before we arrived, found it easily enough, completely off the beaten track, lovely and quiet, really lovely little place, ample big enough for a family, plenty to do in the area. 20 mins or so from Caerphilly and Cardiff, plenty of places to eat or shop, just had a really nice time. Cut short by some issues at home but we'll definitely be back for longer next time. Thanks for accomodating us."

"The lodge is beautiful and wonderful surroundings The view is amazing. Very clean and cosy and home from home with everything you need. Hot tub went down well with all. Dafydd was very welcoming and was just at the end of the phone if we needed anything. Already booked for another weekend!"

"The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple."

"What a wet, windy but wonderful weekend away we had at this beautiful little cabin in wales! I adore christmas so coming in to the cute decor was a bonus. Everything was carefully thought out with the little details. It was a lovely place to come back to after 2 very wet walks with the dog! We wanted a cosy New years Eve in and thats exactly what we got. We couldn't recommend this place enough. It's a shame we didn't use the balcony but will make an effort to return in the warmer months so we...

"The property was amazing , true to its pictures . Immaculate and had everything you needed for a great weekend . Plenty of towels , crockery and toiletries. Hot tub and swimming pool were nice and clean . The host , Karen , was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her . The late checkout on a Sunday was a great bonus . "This is a great place to stay. Very well made, really nicely done and in a great location. Hot tub was lovely and perfectly situated outside the patio door from the bedroom. Very impressed. Really clean and well maintained. Close to plenty of locations such as the cheddar gorge and weston supermare. Scenery is fantastic and very peaceful. Made to feel welcome. Loved it."

"Amazingly spotless, lots of room. Every room had a wow factor. Our first stay in a luxe Lodge and it didn't dissapoint. Slight issue with ants on the last day after the grounds maintenance but it's expected and spray was provided. Hot tub clean and ph checked every day. Reception were happy to help when we realised the first aid kit was missing and there was a cut finger. Brought it round straight away (in their defence we did decline the final check of the housekeeping team as we arrived...

"Had to cut our trip short due to an injury, however owner was so understanding with the whole situation, the location, facilities were great, hottub was perfect addition to this stay to over look farmers fields and their lifestock, so relaxing and would 100% come back again!"

"We booked at the last minute for a 2 night stay and was delighted with the log cabin which was spotless. The use of the garden was an added bonus being able to walk around rather than being restricted to our terrace. Clive and Kaeron were good hosts being friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it very much."
