"we really enjoyed our stay. Lovely area, lovely house, well equipped. There was even a present for the baby. The smoke alarm battery had run out when we arrived. A neighbour came but never returned with the alarm! one of the kitchen drawers was broken, the owner was very responsive but sadly the person who came to mend it couldn’t. Having said this we highly recommend it and Karine. We all had a wonderful time."

"We as a family cannot recommend this place enough. It’s on beautiful grounds, the room is so so comfy with amazing shutters to make the room so dark and it’s so peaceful and quiet you will really have the best night sleep. The grounds are so stunning. The home made breakfast every morning is just sensational. And the hosts are fantastic, so welcoming, warm and always happy to help! Extremely family friendly as we brought our 1 year old. Noel and Evelyn are truly the best hosts. Would 100% recommend to anyone ! Thank you so much Noel and Evelyn for fantastic stay"

Domaine du Château de Monrecour – Hôtel et Restaurant

Stay more than 1 night!

"1. Arrive in the daylight! This is Deep France, so it's a little confusing to find in the dark. 2. Stay in the Chateau part of the house. Our romantic room was BEAUTIFUL and just like the photos. Our -in-laws had a family room, and it was very large! 3. You should reserve for dinner since there isn't much else if you arrive in the evening. We missed it and ended up eating pizza in a parking lot! 4. Breakfast "buffet" was impressive, both the beautiful DR setting and the variety of food. Worth the $. 5. We were there in March, so still early spring, but the pool area and grounds looked very inviting for warmer weather. 6. Excellent treatment at reception for both arrival and departure. 7. Room/beds/AWESOME shower! We would love to return!"
