"This place was spectacular!! We wish would could have stayed longer!! The cottage was beautifully done, the staff was so kind, and how cool to have sheep and cows right out our front door!! We highly recommend staying here and we will be back!!!"

"First the positives. Helpful cheerful staff and good facilities: dining room and bar were nicely decorated and set out. The food served at breakfast was very good. Location of hotel is perfect for exploring Bakewell town centre, which is beautiful. Negatives. We had a room in the annexe across the road. "Nice clean bedroom, with a comfy bed. Stone floor, l think it would accommodate dogs, slippers were provided for guests use. We had a ground floor room, it was noisy as it was on a busy road. The bedroom was tired but fine for our two night stay. The staff were great and did everything to please its residents. Breakfast was super, a good choice and well cooked. Parking was great, a secure carpark for guests."

"Modern, clean and great location. Room has everything you need for comfortable stay. Very nicely furnished. Loved the decor and lighting. Nice bathrooms and lovely towels. Christianne provided first class customer service. Would suggest a room at the rear if road traffic bothers you. Would also suggest the hotel covers the lovely complimentary cakes they provide each afternoon to stop the flies enjoying them. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will visit again."
