"Loved the decor, staff and location was fantastic and where we wanted to be. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Really liked the amenities too. Staff were able to provide alternative parking options in the area that were a little more affordable and close by. Loved that they had this on hand for their guests. The only aspect I didn’t like was there was no housekeeping during our stay. We were booked for two nights and they only offer housekeeping for 3 nights or more. Other hotels are doing the same so this seems to be a trend. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again."

"Staff are incredible! From checking in, concierge, breakfast, room service. Everyone one we met was so friendly and wanting to make our stay memorable. The hotel itself is charming and historic. It may not have the modern amenities, but I selected this hotel for the history and location. With that being said, there are excellent amenities like the salt pool, weight room, and breakfast buffet (for purchase). The rooms are a little dated but were very quiet and even our non view hotel had excellent views of major hill park The hotel is open to the public during the day but it gets locked down with card access only after hours. Location is amazing. Proximity to train, byward market and Rideau centre."
