"Biggest issue was the person who did check in seemed absolutely miserable, I asked if there was any chance of being in a room near my cousin as we’re were doing the trip with them and she seemed so annoyed by my ask. Pool was great kids enjoyed a decent amount of seating was great for parents."

"Great stay! Had a wedding at Crystal Springs & glad we stayed at Appalachian @ MountainCreek. Really, really nice rooms with nice view overlooking pool & mountain. Great lodge type, ski type feel. The shuttle was clutch too."

"The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but not efficient. No plugs near the bed for ease of using a laptop or plugging in a phone. I had my walker with me, but the room was so small it made it difficult to maneuver it within the space. It is a pet-friendly property and we did have our 13 pound dog with us. He was welcomed with warmth and good humor. We greatly appreciated that. Easily accessible from the highway, too."
