Welcome to the Irie Inn! A truly incredible value in the best location possible for those who want to be in Montego Bay's premier tourist area, "The Hip Strip". We are a 5-minute drive from MBJ Airport, stumbling distance from Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and a short walk from the world renowned Doctor's Cave Beach. The space

Room 5 is a spacious 500 sq foot room with high ceilings. It has a separate bedroom for additional privacy from the living room area. It also comes with a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge. A hot plate is available upon request.

Guest access

The room has its own private entrance that opens up to a patio. Just across the street there is a free public beach and park!

I am offsite, but our onsite manager Pauline is available to help you with local restaurant recommendations, trip planning, tour tips and more.

The neighborhood

These comfortable accommodations are located in beautiful surroundings with adjoining a good size patio. Located at 39 Gloucester Avenue in the heart of the 'Hip Strip" at Hip Strip Plaza in Montego Bay's premier tourist area, all accommodations nestles by a beautiful foliage hill just 2 minutes walk from large and lovely white sand beach and green park public area where jogging, running and exercising is optional. Taxis and sightseeing tours available on the spot. Most restaurants and nite clubs only 2 minutes walk away from apartments including: Pelican Grill, Burger King and also Chinese and American restaurants, Margueritaville, Coral Cliff and gaming lounge, and The Brewery just to name a few. Only 10 minutes walk from the world's famous Doctors Cave white sand beach, banks, duty free shopping and souvenir / straw area, and the United States Consulate Office. Hip Strip Plaza is the most centrally located area on the Hip-strip and only 15 minutes walk from the City Centre and downtown Montego Bay's Duty Free and shopping area, Post Office, and 5 minutes walk from the Canadian Consulate Office.

Getting around

We are located in the heart of the tourist strip so a car is not necessary for short stays. However, we do offer free parking if you have a car. There are plenty taxi's at the airport and they normally will accept $15 USD for transportation to The Irie Inn. If you decide to travel to other cities, I would recommend the Knutsford Express bus. They provide inexpensive transport across the island with Wi-Fi.
