"It was cool. Staff very friendly. Rooms and building can be updated but was still decent to stay. Staff could have made it known that we had access to other RIU resorts because Riu Montego had better entertainment. We were not able to book dinner reservations at neither restaurant. We had to eat at the buffet each night. We tried to book the the first night and everything was booked. Jerk chicken in the grill was good!!!"

While the resort did show a little age, it was pretty clean and you could tell they tried to keep up with the upkeep. "Managers Richard and Sanya in were amazing! We had a few hiccups during our first couple of days and they both went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The property was well kept and up to our standards. Secrets was a great choice but I would give it a 3.5/5 overall. I recommend booking the preferred suites for a 4.5/5 experience. "

"I chose this property due to the convenience of the beach. I wanted to be able to walk right to the beach and get in the water without swim shoes (beach is clean, no rocks and water is clear). I enjoyed this property as its adults only, but you have the option to use the other connected properties amenities which are family friendly. So, you get 3 resorts for 1. The staff is ok. Food is ok. Rooms are beautiful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. "
