"Reception was friendly and welcoming. Nadine stood out in her knowledge of the property and the service she provided. The upstairs standard room was clean and what was advertised in their listing. We very much enjoyed the balcony and the view of the pool area. We had a relaxing time in the courtyard pool area that has a convenient bar and food service. The salt water pool was extremely relaxing. I only gave a 4 star for property cleanliness because some areas needed some additional upgrading and maintenance needs. The workout room and the area around the waterfall pool in front of the property needed some attention. However, it did not affect our stay. The meals and service at their restaurant was another treat."

"we had an absolutely beautiful time at the grand Palladium Lady Hamilton in Jamaica. The beginning was a bit of a rocky start to start. We stood in line for check-in for HOURS, the travel club as nice as it is and as worth it as I think it could be if you have money, I really think there's a better way they could go about it so if you can try to avoid it great if you're interested in learning about it then by all means, go ahead and spend your day with them. We got upgraded to a room because there were several issues that were going on with ours. we had a junior suite Garden view, which the nice thing was as we still had a pretty view of the ocean, but Our air conditioner did not work. The television did not work and did not have a remote to it. The room I'm sorry to say it was not extremely clean and the tub had broken jets in it. It was really disappointing, and we brought it to the attention of managers there and they got our room upgraded which the nice thing was as we ended up being closer to the other couple that we were traveling with, so that also made us feel better, as well. Overall, we had a beautiful time and we were sad to leave, to be honest. Majority of the staff that we were around were extremely sweet and kind and friendly. They made it feel like home. The food everywhere we went was absolutely delicious, and the pool is absolutely to die for. I would definitely go again, but I would also recommend splurging on the more expensive rooms if you can."

"Loved the main pool, the lap pool by our room was dirty and not ready for use. The beach was great. Food was really good but very expensive and so were the drinks. Check-in process was very lengthy and our room was delayed by over 1.5 hours. The lock to our room malfunctioned and we were locked out of our room for hours after the delayed check in which made for a very tough first day. The hotel emailed me before my trip to arrange for transportation and to see if we were celebrating any events. I made arrangements for a shared shuttle and told them my wife and I were celebrating our 25 wedding anniversary. Both requests were ignored, I had to follow up several times to make sure we had transportation and when the bill came it was for a private care taking the expense from 80 to 300 dollars, which they fixed. On the way out, a nice front desk person handed us two plastic cups for forgetting our wedding anniversary. We expected better from Half Moon, very disappointed with certain aspects of our trip. Great people working at this resort just poor management and horrible attention to detail"
