We always stay at the Country Inn and Suites when we visit Grinnell. The rooms are clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient location. My only complaint is that it is noisy. The ac/heating unit can be incredibly loud and grating in some rooms. Rooms themselves are not very sound proof so if you have loud neighbors you are out of luck. Overall, we have found this hotel to be very comfortable and a good value.

Great location, very clean and welcoming, staff is friendly and professional.

The place was wonderfully decorated with many traditional elements. It's a short walking distance from the center of town. The owner was very helpful and gave us some nice tips on what to go see.

This room far exceeded my expectations for the price. It seems to be recently remodeled. Everything was updated and very clean. There was no slightly musty smell you often get with hotels of this style and age. The people at the front desk were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again

Clean, cozy comfort at an extremely reasonable rate. Owner\managers where wonderfully helpful in helping us choose things to do and see while in Pella for a 'girls get away', gave us helpful directions and an idea of what to expect, recommended restaurants, winery, bakery & shops in the area! Our arrival was greeted with warm, melt in your mouth cookies- served in the lobby every afternoon during our four day stay! Although we didnt need the pool, a number of other guests enjoyed. Only issue we had was with a bad reservation sent by Expedia. Nicest place you will find in a corn field in the middle of no-ware. 5 star

Check in person was highly professional. Accommodations top notch.

They had cookies and coffee in the lobby and the staff was very friendly. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. In the morning we had a great breakfast.

Property is comparable to a Marriott Fairfield property.

I stayed in a really nice and expensive hotel the night before going to Grinnell so when I walked I was expecting more, but then I realized that I had no use for any of the other hotels extras (dish washer, full kitchen and 3 rooms). This hotel has everything that you might use or need. Even allowed grand kids in the pool! Great staff, excellent breakfast, and great room. forget anything like toothpastr? just ask, the staf will supply your needs. Recommend for short (week long) stays.

We appreciated the neat, clean room. We found it restful, quiet, a nice breakfast available for the morning.

Great family run hotel clean and quiet. Easy to the family restaurant. Close to town. Pet friendly. Lots of outside space for pets to run around

First of all this is an older building and it is in need of repair. And it offers a discounted price to compensate for this. Don't let the outward appearance discourage you. I stayed 5 nights. The location is just out of town and is a safe location to stay in. The room I had was very clean. The bedding, furniture, towels were in very good condition. They looked new. The AC worked very well, and the refrigerator was good sized and cold. You could set the thermostat where you wanted it. ...
