"Only complaint is that the pool was shut down. They were repairing a major leak. Staff was wonderful, especially the woman that checked me in. I wish I got her name. Diner next door is fantastic."

"First off, I just want to say the staff running the place was very helpful and courteous but in the first room we were given, 2 of the lamps werent working which we found out were outlet issues. We were offered a second room which I thought would be better. Not so, the door did not lock, the hair dryer didn't work, the toilet cover was broken, there was a squishy part in the floor of the bathroom and both rooms didn't smell very good. We asked to have the manager call us about these issues the next day but that never happened. I will never stay at a Super 8 again. "

"Our room was spotless and super comfortable. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. I didn’t use the pool but the fitness center had everything my husband and I needed for great workouts. Breakfast was way better than other hotels we have stayed in,"

"This is my preferred stay in Cedar Rapids. It's a hotel in transition as it continues to be remodeled after being heavily damaged by the derecho. The available rooms are dated but they are also priced accordingly. Without a doubt this will again be one of Cedar Rapid's finest."
