A no-frills hotel in a good location in town with bus and Metro access close by. Off street parking available. Street noise and steep staircases could be problematic. It is not ADA compliant.

It's an old building with lots of character but the service was excellent. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. Our room was clean and spacious, and very quiet. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was low, but otherwise it was fine. I would strongly recommend Bella Casa.

Great location and friendly staff. Building is very old and in need of some work. Fridge seals were broken and the shower door had seen better days. But was an otherwise pleasant stay. Just don’t expect it to the Hilton.

Good location and helpful staff, but this hotel is run down and dirty. There was no water pressure in the shower so I was not able to wash my hair. The fridge made some weird noises so we unplugged it. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, but it looks like the last remodeling was completed in the 90s. Despite the convenient location and reasonable price I will not stay there again.

I really appreciated my 5 night stay over there. I found the place extremely quiet, even though the location was located in a very busy area (may be partly because my room was looking at the inner yard ). It is a old house with thick walls and thick wooden doors which also probably help helps in absorbing the sound waves. I also needed a table with a chair in order to get some work done in my room and promptly the staff provided me with the furniture. I could also use a small fridge at the end of the corridor which was quite convenient.

Casa Bella Hotel was on the main strip of Rue De Sherbrooke, and it gave me easy access to many things while I was in town for the UCI Road Cycling Championships. Quick access to the BIXI bikes (right across the streets). I was looking for simple accommodations, which it was and cheap considering its location. The shared bathroom was very tiny, like 3ft by 4 ft, but the sink and toilet worked fine. The shared shower had to be plunged and cleaned, but the staff got right on it and allowed me access to another shower on the lower level. (The shower worked well the remainder of my stay). I had a room facing the main street, which I liked. It can be loud as it's on one of the main streets in Montreal, with party goers, and cars and motorcycles drag racing. Close walking distance to most places. Rooms were pretty clean and the beds were okay. Also, the room had a nice sink and mirror with towels/wash cloths and drying racks. TV, microwave and fridge worked well, too.

Great location in Montreal, I happened to be near the International Jazz Festival. They have limited parking available, you have to leave your keys behind, which I did not like. For a solo traveller, this place was great for my needs, I spent most of my time out, I only needed a shower and place to sleep. I do recommend this for an affordable getaway.

Staff was helpful when we needed another set of towels. Room was clean and spacious. Would have been nice to know if the room had a microwave and fridge sooner and that it had no kettle. No ramp to go into the hotel was hard when lugging heavy luggage. Otherwise good experience.
