Hotel Ambrose is a beautiful hotel with a perfect location! It is two blocks from a metro and right in the museum district. I loved being able to walk downstairs in the morning to have an espresso and a delicious breakfast to start the day. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Ambrose!

From New York, we found this very nice, clean and convenient to the downtown location. Perfect for our visit and would stay again in the future. Very clean and helpful staff, very easy check in and out process

First stay at the hotel. Except for the hotel and our room having some construction defects, it was very clean. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Very minimal parking spots but staff made sure one was reserved for us, even having to wait a few minutes as all spots were filled when arriving. Perfect area if attending an event at Bell Centre. Walking distance was about 15min. Overall, I would still recommend staying at this hotel.

This hotel is very charming. Reminds me of many places we’ve stayed in Europe. The rooms were clean and staff were friendly and attendant. Easy check-in. The air-conditioning is easy to use and controlled room-by-room. We parked off site at Parking Le Cartier, but it was only a 3-minute walk. If you are sensitive to strong smells, keep in mind that the cafe emits a strong smell of food throughout the main level, but it didn’t come up to the room on the 2nd floor.

Unfortunately we found our room quite dirty (mostly dusty and the floor was very dirty), and generally pretty shabby (missing screws in the faceplates, chipped paint). Lots of potential if they put some time into the details. Great location though!

The AC in the room worked phenomenally. Staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. Room was big and had everything I needed in it. That said, the curtain did not close all the way and the bed was unstable on its wood foundation. Otherwise, this place accomplished exactly what I needed it to.

Hotel Ambrose is in a great location close to the Metro. For the area, it's a good value and the room was a good size, the air conditioning worked well, and the room was quiet. The hotel is in the process of being remodeled. The hallway carpet is worn and could use vacuuming. The room was fairly clean. Overall, the hotel was rough around the edges, but if value is a priority and you're willing to make trade-offs, this is the place for you.

So happy Ambrose Hotel was able to accommodate us last minute when our other place fell through! It ended up for the better! Excellent location, on site parking, owners were so kind. The Rose latte in the morning was amazing. Thank you!

Inside the room was clean. Friendly staff. The carpets in the hallways and stairwells were dirty and badly need to be vacuumed (ideally the flooring would be replaced but a vacuum would help). Compared to the exorbitant price of the Sofitel down the street though, I would still stay at the place again.

The location is excellent. Walking distante to subway, restaurants,Mcgill University, St Catherine street. The service from every one in the hotel was excellent. The hotel is an old building and needs some maintenance but the room was clean and with all services needed. The cafe in the hotel was also very good

I absolutely loved my stay here. The property is located in a great area, and was close to all the amenities I wanted to check out (about 15 minute walk from Centre Bell). Also the staff are amazing! Will definitely stay here again in the future :)
